アラン・ホールズワースのクラシック・ライブ録音シリーズ最新作『Leverkusen ’97』が、マニフェスト・レコードよりリリースされました。この公演では、ホールズワースを支えたのは、高名なドラマーで長年の共演者であるチャド・ワッカーマンと、名ベーシストのデイヴ・カーペンター。ワッカーマンは、ホールズワースとの思い出や1997年のヨーロッパ・ツアーでカーペンターと共演した経験をもとに、本作のライナーノーツも執筆しています。11曲入りの本作は、1997年10月16日にドイツのレバークーゼン・ジャズターゲ・フェスティバルで行われたギターの巨匠のライブ演奏を収録。ドイツテレビ向けに録音・撮影されたこの音源は、オリジナル・テープからデジタル・リマスタリングされ、さらに高音質化されています。
